Introduction

Workprentice is a platform for creating autonomous AI agents that connect to your existing tools and execute tasks independently. Think of it as an apprentice that learns your craft, works alongside you, and grows more capable over time.

  1. Create an agent — Give it a personality, a purpose, and access to your tools.
  2. Connect integrations — Salesforce, GitHub, Zendesk, Slack, Google Workspace, and more. OAuth or API key, your choice.
  3. Set a schedule — Daily reports, weekly reviews, or event-driven triggers.
  4. Review results — Your agent delivers structured work products: enriched tickets, sales forecasts, pull requests, and more.

An agent is an autonomous worker with a defined personality, purpose, and set of tools. Agents reason about tasks, write and execute code, and deliver results.

Each time an agent runs, it creates a session — a complete record of the agent’s reasoning, tool calls, and outputs. Sessions provide full transparency.

Integrations connect agents to external tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Each integration provides tools that agents can use during execution.

Assignments define recurring work — a specific agent, a specific task, on a specific schedule. Assignments create sessions automatically.
